 Amazing Grace

Tuần này xin mời các bạn nghe một ca khúc nước ngoài : Amazing Grace do hợp ca Celtic Woman, trên một sân khấu ngoài trời hoành tráng... Được sáng tác bởi John Newton (1725-1807) là thuyền trưởng một tàu buôn nô lệ; nội dung và âm điệu của Amazing Grace đã mau chóng cuốn hút sự cảm thông và đồng điệu của cộng đồng những người Mỵ gốc Phi cũng như dân da đỏ Cherokee... Bài hát do vậy đôi khi được tưởng lầm là biểu trưng của người da mầu Mỹ, gốc nô lệ...

'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,

And grace my fears relieved;
